Harsimrat Singh Kharod:

"I graduated from Khalsa Community School in June 2017. Currently, I am completing, my experiential training of 8 months, to become a licensed lawyer as of June 2024. After high school, I went to Law School in the UK, and graduated from Law school in July 2021. Khalsa Community School had a huge influence in helping me achieve this goal. Khalsa Community School helped me build a great foundation, as it created an environment where you could focus on your goals and develop your skill set, instead of being sidetracked or diverted from achieving these goals by distractions. Khalsa Community School also helped me keep my Sikh values engrained and taught me how to stand my ground. Being a Sikh and going to an entirely different country for law school, these skills helped me, as I was able to stand my ground and not be affected by any distractions, and focus on the goal of graduating with the highest classification of honours given by UK Universities. Khalsa Community School also, helped me refine the skills of, time management, working under pressure for long durations of time, as when I was in high school, the class would get a number of assignments and tests that would either be due on the same day or during the same week. Along with that I was also participating in high school sports teams. These skills still help me to this day, as in Law School I needed to manage studying for multiple law school exams taking place during the same week, along with practising the values of Sikhism, and working out to keep physically and mentally healthy. During high school, I learned a motto that is also instilled in Sikhism, and that motto is, whatever you are trying to achieve, give it your best try, and leave the rest to God, every individual is blessed with a different capacity. This helps keep you motivated and persistent in achieving your goal."

Arshdeep Brar:

"As a Khalsa Community School Alumni of 2018, I can confidently and sincerely say that my experience, values and the opportunities that I encountered here have made me into the person I am today. The strong foundations of Sikhism weaved into the curriculum, and everyday practices, have guided me by instilling in me the strength to overcome challenges. The guidance from the teachers and advisors, and the environment itself created a persevering and determined attitude, and has been guiding me in new adventures and hardships that life brings. My time spent in Khalsa Community School gave me invaluable life skills, created a strong educational background and foundation, and made me into the life-long learner I am today. As a Registered Nurse, I can confidently say that Khalsa Community School prepared me for my future in the best way."

"My experience at KCS was full of invaluable lessons, self-discovery, and personal growth, all of which have left an enduring mark on my life. These experiences not only laid a solid academic foundation but also contributed significantly to the person I am today and the knowledge I have gained. The everlasting relationships I formed with both teachers and friends are treasures I’ll forever hold dear. The habits I made, facilitated my learning at university and allowed this huge transition to be much more smooth. My ability to do well in KCS opened doors to remarkable opportunities during my undergrad years and it was the constant guiding support from our teachers, who even after graduating have always been there for us."

"Attending Khalsa Community School was a memorable experience, and I am forever thankful for the institution’s role in helping me grow as a student and a person. The school's emphasis on critical thinking and the implementation of a growth mindset allowed me to understand my shortcomings and implement an action plan to overcome academic challenges. Teachers consistently encouraged deep exploration of subjects, which planted the seeds for my chosen career path within biochemistry. KCS's diverse extracurricular opportunities, in the form of educational seminars and competitions, played a pivotal role in building my confidence. Above all, I believe, a sense of discipline, in respect to honouring my duties and responsibilities, and a sense of morality are fundamentally the most important values which I learnt during my education at KCS. Overall, Khalsa Community School provided a nurturing environment that honed my academic abilities and taught me the fundamental skills of confidence and resilience. I am immensely grateful for the foundations created during my time there."

"My time at Khalsa Community School has been instrumental in shaping my journey into university life. The school instilled in me the habit of effective planning and accomplishment, ensuring I'm always on top of my academic responsibilities. What truly set this institution apart was its dedicated teaching staff who offered unwavering support from primary to secondary levels, nurturing me into a better student and a more well-rounded individual.
Moreover, the school's emphasis on extracurricular activities, such as participation in the debate team and taking on the role of house captain, significantly contributed to my personal growth. These experiences boosted my self-confidence, improved my communication skills, and honed my leadership abilities. Khalsa Community School provided an environment where I not only learned but also developed as a person. It's important to note that I am not a perfect or self-centered student; rather, I humbly acknowledge the positive impact the school had on my character development. It was both a place to acquire knowledge and a platform for personal growth, preparing me well for the challenges of university life."

"As a university student, KCS has greatly shaped and impacted my journey. The staff and the facilities have aided in my present success. Without teachers in KCS constantly pouring information and guidance into my consciousness, my time at university would have been dreadful. However, due to the strict but fair deadlines, monthly tests and weekly quizzes, I have developed a good work ethic and time-management skills. Alongside the development of a strong academic background, KCS allowed me to engage in an equivalent extracurricular side. The main focus at KCS was a balance between academic and co-curricular activities, demonstrated by their inter-house competitions. I can confidently say that without KCS, I would never have gained the virtues I stated above."

My teachers’ unwavering support and genuine care made all the difference. The rigorous curriculum challenged me to think critically, work diligently, and push my boundaries. This prepared me not only for higher education but gave the strong foundation for the real world.
I just want to express my gratitude for my teachers ongoing support, even after leaving school years ago. Your unwavering encouragement and guidance have meant the world to me, and I'm truly thankful for your continued presence in my life.
KCS isn't just a school; it's a place where ambitions are nurtured and realized. I wholeheartedly endorse KCS to any student looking for a holistic education that goes beyond academics. Thank you for being a pivotal part of my journey."

"I always thought school was dreadful but now I look back, and without KCS I wouldn’t be where I am today. KCS has always believed in striving for excellence and working hard to achieve your goals. By joining Student Council and participating in many extracurricular activities, I was able to sharpen my skills. With the help of my supportive high school teachers, I also received a volunteering position at the Brampton Civic Hospital. Along this journey, there were many unforgettable memories like going to Muskoka for our graduation trip, to the pumpkin carving competitions for Halloween. I enjoyed my wonderful experience at KCS and now I am currently pursuing a degree in Biology at the University of Toronto Mississauga. As a former student from KCS, I am glad that KCS was a part of my journey."
